Weekly Tip: Garden Edging ... An old straight wood plank can be used to help get a perfectly straight line for your gardening edging. Weekly Tip: Carpet scraps ... Don't be so quick to throw those away! You can recycle those pieces again and again for projects at home. Slide pieces of carpet pile side down on legs of furniture to push it across the floor - much easier than lifting. Place a piece of carpet pile side up in the basin of your sink when working on the faucet to avoid damage or scratches to the bowl. And there are many more uses!

Weekly Tip: Adjust timers on outdoor lights ... With Daylight Savings time, in addition to changing your smoke alarm's batteries, set timers on exterior lights to take longer days into account. No reason to keep those lights blazing while the sun's still shinning and pay for unnecessary electricty use.
