Just delivered this Black Walnut table to a couple in Mendota Heights. I was displaying it this past weekend at the Mn Woodworkers Northern Woods Exhibition. The rich dark heartwood in contrast to the lighter sapwood, and the shape of the piece, makes it very unique.

Recently delivered this black walnut end table to a client in Woodbury. She commissioned it for the 5yr anniversary with her partner. This was sanded down to the inner bark/cambium to show the unique pattern. It was finished with Tung Oil to draw out the colors of the dark heartwood and emphasize the light color of the sapwood.

Making two versions of this style end table. One that retains the inner bark for a patchwork darker style, and one that is into the whiter sapwood which creates more of a blonde look. And next two vids show how they will look when finished.

I just cut open these two Black Walnut logs from a couples property in North Oaks. I will be making a collection of pieces (coffee table, couch table, end tables, benches) that will be used in their new house they are building near Grand Marais.

Just completed this custom trophy for the Bald Eagle Yacht Club. The blue epoxy with the swirls worked out well.
