My favorite place to buy flowers is Alma garden gate, in Alma WI. It’s been my Mothers Day tradition for years to make it one of my weekend stops when I visit my mom. The flowers are just more unique and special here and the owner is a wealth of information and inspiration. It’s a pleasure to wonder through the colors and blooms with the river as a back drop. I hope you all have an opportunity to visit.

Market on Market is THIS SATURDAY. It’s the season opener and I’m absolutely thrilled. This event is hosted by Mario of Beer By Bike Brigade and he does a hell of a job putting it together.

I bought a beautiful large frame that still had a painting in it. The painting was water damaged, warped and full of thick dust. I cleaned and repaired the frame and was going to throw the painting away. But curiosity go the best of me and I began to clean the paining to reveal a sweet country scene. I have many many small frames and so I cut the good parts of the painting to make this sweet little gallery.
