Ok, I understand if you didn’t stop by the barn today because you didn’t have boots but no more excuses since the beautiful weather and the sun dried up the mud today!

Just when I thought I was finally making some progress, my friend Larry showed up, multiple times, with a truck full of boxes loaded with vintage treasures. I can’t put it all back and honestly, I don’t want to.

So come help me solve this problem. Let’s make some deals before Larry finds and brings more stuff.

Dear Winter,

I hate to rush you, but you’re standing between me and a very reasonable request from my wife…She has politely suggested that the garage could use a little extra space (apparently cars go in there). The plan was a Barn Sale, but the cold and snow had other ideas.

So until the weather decides to cooperate, I’m asking my great customers to save your money and help me start clearing things out by buying online. Every purchase helps make room and keeps household harmony intact.

As soon as it warms up, the barn doors will open and the in-person deals will be on.
Come on, sunshine. Do this for my marriage.

Stay tuned for additional online silent auctions, live online auctions (Whatnot), and, heck, if you see something in the pics and must have it, make an offer. I won't be offended by lowball offers but please remember I, too, have money tied up in this stuff. I can sell on eBay but would rather keep it local and avoid seller fees, shipping, etc.

If you’ve been scrolling, lurking, or saying “I’ll bid later" this is your nudge. The ONLINE BARN AUCTION ends, tomorrow, FRIDAY at 8:00 PM.

Once that clock hits 8, it’s over-over. No extensions, no “wait, one more bid!” Plenty of good stuff still up for grabs, so don’t sleep on it. Set an alarm. Tell a friend. Hide your credit card from your spouse if needed.

Been snowed in and went digging through the garage instead of losing my mind… turns out there were a few treasures hiding in there.

These are items that usually sell for higher prices online, but I’m offering them locally first to avoid listing fees, shipping headaches, and arguing with cardboard boxes.

I’m open to reasonable offers if you feel a price is off—feel free to do a little research and keep me honest. Local buyers get first dibs before anything gets tossed into the wild world of online selling.

Is this your New Year's resolution? “I will not let a little freezing weather stop me from buying old stuff.” If not, it should be so grab your coat, your New Year cash, and head to the Vintage & Antique Barn Sale at 5366-A Muddy Creek Road.

The barn is packed with stuff that survived decades without central heat so, frankly, you’ll be fine.

Cold is temporary. Vintage is forever. Think of me, braving the cold… waiting for you from 10-4 on Friday and 10-4 on Saturday.
