If your tile floor is solid you do Not have to pull up the tile. You can put waterproof vinyl over the tile. I have done this numerous times. Check out the before and after flooring.

This is why you should NOT reface cabinets. They are all peeling off.
Better to replace than reface. It will save you money in the long run.
