2024 Waymart Homer Dome Classic Lifetime Achievement Award

Bruce Potter - Prompton, PA.

Bruce is a staple of Blue Collar Softball. His venue hosts arguably the best pregame and postgame gatherings in the Wednesday Night league.

On August 16, 2023, Bruce celebrated his 80th birthday by taking the mound as the starting pitcher for Prompton Softball, pitching the 1st inning against Watson Timber Harvesting.

A week later, Waymart Softball asked him if he had another inning left. He graciously said yes and took the mound as the starting pitcher again in back-to-back weeks.

Thank you to the Waymart Softball, Prompton Softball, Watson Timber Harvesting and Wargo Flooring teams for being a part of this special presentation at the Homer Dome!

He’s going to be mad at me for posting this, but he deserves every bit of recognition for this award. It was a very special moment in the history of Wayne County Softball!

The Waymart Homer Dome Classic is a charity softball tournament held annually to raise money to make upgrades and improvements on the Robert Wilson Complex, in Waymart.

We collaborated with them in hopes of raising more funds for their Little League’s field enhancements.

This beer is a low ABV, easy drinking session IPA, perfect for beer league softball or lawn chores in this summer heat. Hopped with Citra and Amarillo, it’s citrusy with a hint of candy, but the typical hazy beer LMB drinkers have come to love.
