A pile of lumber, a whole lot of time in the shop, and eventually… a beautiful family dining table.

This walnut table and matching bench set was built from the ground up, right down to the bases. Eric kept the natural edges and let the character of the walnut do the rest! Pretty hard to beat the finished product.

Watching a rough slab slowly turn into a smooth tabletop never gets old.

Every pass through the planer brings out a little more of the wood’s character, and the before-and-after at the end is worth the wait!

A quick update from The Shed:

Eric is stepping away from the shop for the next couple weeks due to a family emergency. While he's out, he won't be meeting with customers, quoting new projects, or answering messages as quickly as he normally would. We ask for a little patience while things are quiet on his end.

If there's ever a time to rally around a small local maker, this is it. One of the best ways to support Eric right now is to keep his work moving. Over the next few weeks we'll be sharing some of his recent builds along with a handful of handcrafted pieces that are available to purchase today. Every order, share, and kind word genuinely helps, and it means the world to our family.

Thank you for being the kind of community that shows up. Eric will be back to making sawdust and taking on custom builds as soon as he's able.
