A client asked us to renovate a bathroom suite inside their 1970s midcentury home, where distinctive mosaic finger parquet runs throughout much of the house.
We selected small, stacked rectangular Architessa tiles to reference the existing parquet and bring a tactile, midcentury quality to the space. Maroon and pink create an intimate setting just off the main bedroom, reminiscent of the 1970s, while the maroon tones connect back to the wood parquet and vaulted cedar ceilings beyond.
