Thanks for all the new likes! We are in the middle of creating a new rocking chair. These are all made by hand (oh, yes I use power tools, but it's just me, no factory). The wood is mostly local pine, all harvested from standing dead timber. Some seats and runners are made from oak, and even some of that is local.
