Just a little pine Texas Star night stand / side table project. I had to replace molding at the base, because the side piece was missing. I also had to repair the drawer front. I kept it a natural finish. I used MinWax natural penetrating oil stain, to bring out the grain of the wood. I used Minwax natural paste wax finish to seal the finish. Before and after pics. The last pictures is my ChatGPT staging picture.

My latest project was a little painted occasional table that evidently was chewed on by a doggy! I was able to get all the old paint off really easy because no primer was used. It was already peeling off. Repaired the chew on area with pre-colored Minwax wood filler. Stained everything, but the top, with the dark walnut Minwax stain and did the top in a special walnut stain, so it would be a little bit lighter and show off the woodgrain. Finished with a Minwax dark paste finishing wax. The last pictures are the staging using ChatGPT. Moving onto the next one.

Hello everybody! I know it’s been a little while! this one is a 1920/ 1930 era Jacobian style Buffet cabinet. It had been very poorly refinished, lots of runs and streaks in the finish. It had a broken backsplash and a broken bottom rail that had to be repaired. To finish I used Rust/Oleum American Accents spray paint. The color is called satin nutmeg. the stain on the wooden part is MinWax Special walnut. I used a Minwax dark paste wax over the top of everything to give it a distressed finish. I used the original hardware and just cleaned it up. Onto the next one.

Boy and I just finished this set. We used reclaimed treated 2x4’s and treated fence pickets. We sanded everything to remove splinters and bring the wood grain out. We treated it with two coats of exterior water repellant sealer. Used ChatGPT for staging ( I wish I had this patio)

Before and after pictures of 1930-1940 Art Deco waterfall four drawer chest. I took all the original pulls off and clean thoroughly, which lead me to find they were not solid brass, researched, and found they were actually made from cast zinc and painted the brass color. They actually have the original Bakelite inserts, which is considered to be the first fully synthetic plastic. I taped them off and repainted and they came out amazing! It took some elbow grease to get her cleaned up and quite a few pieces of wood veneer that were peeling on this one and scuffs and scratches to repaire. I lightly sanded used a product called Howard’s Restore-A-Finish with Howard’s Feed-N-Wax and then Minwax Paste wax to seal the finish. I had to glue and clamp several of the drawers and then used orange oil to clean and recondition the wood, which smells amazing! I lined the drawers with a happy floral vinyl wallpaper from Amazon. I was also able to save the original wheels so this heavy piece of furniture can be rolled around. It’s not perfect, but what do we expect from a piece of furniture that’s almost 100 years old?

The first picture is the before snd the rest are after pictures of My most recent project is this Birds-eye maple 4 drawer chest. It was pretty easy to work with. Very well constructed, great bones! Found a new skeleton key and the lock functions! Had to repair a few spots where the veneer was peeling or chipped. I Stuck with pretty much the natural color as it really shows off the little “birds eyes” in the grain. I Changed out drawer k***s from wood to ones I had leftover from another project, pretty little floral brass ones. I did lightly sand thr wood to temp r the old shiny clear coat, cleaned and sanitized. Everything really good. I used an oil and waxed finish to enhance the wood grain. Used vinyl peel and stick wallpaper to line the drawers. Onto the next one.
