Getting ready for… FINALLY  getting back into my figure drawing… already feeling a sense of relief. Charcoal is the messiest for me (other than pastel I suppose), but it is the most freeing. I do not have any mastery of this medium in any way shape or form but boy oh boy do I love it. This is a piece I did in about a half hour or so with a charcoal artist that specializes in abstract portraiture and figures. I am reminded of how much peace I derive from using various mediums and particularly having started this one. Watch out Wildwood Antique Mall of Vero Beach… someday they might be in my booth lol

I miss my mom. She was a glamorous, exquisite soul inside and out. Everyone called her the queen it was justified for many reasons lol. She’s gone three years today. This is a picture of her taken just two days before she passed. She doesn’t have on any of her stunning clothing, she has no exquisite jewelry on, and no makeup except for lipstick-she was 94 here. You can just imagine what she looked like in her modeling days when she was in her 20s and 30s I will post them sometime…but, today, I’m frozen…with everything that she was, and everything she did and everything she had the only request she made of us when she was dying was to make sure we took care of her beloved baby, BEAU. He always suffered with great skin disorders and itching. His fur was often shredded basically. We have done everything we can to be consistent to keep him looking and feeling great. The only thing I can’t give him that she had was all of the beloved kisses she would bestow upon him each and every day as he kept her great company… I can’t imagine how much he must miss her too. I hope you are fully free mom. I hope you cruising. I hope you’re dancing and singing and performing. I hope you’re doing all of the things above that you had to give up here.

Check out the LATEST IDESIGNS ART & INSTRUMENTS corner – – new categories offered by iDesigns at the Wildwood Antique Mall of Vero Beach— we also offer artwork from diverse cultures in history starting this time with beautiful pieces, indicative of historic Egypt. These are all located in our shelf area down aisle A- A31 & A32.

Further down aisle A, in our open air Cypress shops booth, we have added some lovely art themed home goods /kitchen pieces from Van Gogh, Degas, Klimt & others. These are located on the exquisite multitiered Bernhardt etagere which is also available for sale.

Last, but definitely not least, look at our largest venue ( D13/D14 ) for decorative HomeGoods featuring Chinese and Japanese designs!

Wildwood antique mall is located conveniently at the north east corner of US Highway one and OSLO in Vero Beach. The store is open Monday through Saturday from nine in the morning till eight at night and on Sundays from nine in the morning till seven.

Collectively, our three IDesign booth spaces (Q2,D13/D14 and Center Aisle A-“Cypress Shop”) feature spectacular, eclectic merchandise that is certain to intrigue any discerning buyer— whether you enjoy the boho/bohemian, coastal, traditional/vintage, or MCM/modern design aesthetic, iDesigns will surely have something intriguing for you!

Booth Q2 predominantly features the following:

We have a particularly lovely selection of bar/serving/tea carts that are truly fabulous statement pieces! If you don’t see one you have in mind, please ask as we have many more available!

Our latest space—Aisle A Cypress Shop has a variety of coastal and small wicker furnishings, dishes, gift baskets, and home decor.

Our gift baskets include beautiful, ornately decorated, and packaged seashells with high fashion gems.

Some gift baskets feature custom created seashell napkin rings, or ceramic sea sculptures that hold air/water plants with others consisting of cosmetic comforts like hand lotions, and cotton washcloths— with Mother’s Day on the horizon, your perfect gift solution just might be here for you!

The Wildwood Antique Mall of Vero Beach is conveniently located at 720 S. US Highway one in the strip mall at the corner of oslo and US one on the northeast side.

We are open seven days a week, Monday through Saturday from nine in the morning till eight in the evening and on Sundays from nine in the morning till 7 PM.

Palm Sunday at Wildwood Antique Mall of Vero Beach was so much fun today.

We had the luxury of meeting so many fantastic people!!!!

Everyone was so warm and welcoming that utter strangers became immediate friends in just a matter of minutes—LITERALLY!

Wildwood is filled with stunning treasures from new to old and back again but yet, the best part of it all is all of you—our truly treasured clients.

We are grateful for each and every one of you and IDesigns wishes to send everyone a glorious joy filled Easter wish as the next weekend fast approaches.

In addition, we have one of a kind designer silk scarves from a local artist— her scarves sold for $129 in the galleries and fashion events in Palm Beach Beach, Broward, and Dade counties— having relocated to Indian River County, the artist has them specially priced at Wildwood for only $29.99!

We think they will make a gorgeous Mother’s Day gift by the way!!
