Merry Christmas!!! It’s finally November which means I can finally make a Christmas post! Lol I’ve seen a few Instagram influencers make Christmas reels today so I decided to make one too! The snow machine at the end might seem a little over the top but I love it!!! 😆🎄🎄🎄

Isn’t this piece absolutely spectacular?!?? This piece would make such a huge statement in any room it’s placed in! It stands at nearly 8ft high and approximately 5ft wide…

When I saw this piece on marketplace over a month ago I knew it had sooo much potential, but it was a little out of our budget for a flip piece. I thought about it for a few weeks then decided to get it! It was in pretty decent shape but it needed a new back…I started by stripping the original finish then I sanded it down to the natural wood…I stained it in a wash of antique oak stain then I painted the interior in a warm off black color for a nice contrast! After staining and painting was complete, I sealed it up in matte top coat.

I also cut the piece in half to accommodate for lower ceilings and door frames then also added new fretwork to the cabinet doors!

It’s sooo rare to find a set of vintage bachelor chest so I knew when I saw these I had to grab them! I love the simple timeless design and original hardware! My original plan for these was to strip it down and give them a light natural look but I decided that black would be the best choice for a classy timeless look!

I painted them in lamp black and stained the top in provincial wood stain then sealed in matte top coat.

Doesn’t this piece look fantastic?!? I just love how the dark metallic paint looks on the curvy front and against the natural wood tone!

We transformed this beautiful piece for a local nursing home! It was originally a light green with a raised floral design all over it…It looked ok but it was definitely time for a makeover so I gave the body our faux wood finish using and Briarsmoke wood satin then painted the doors and drawers in a dark metallic look then sealed the entire piece in matte top coat!

I’ve always loved the look of antique card catalogs and apothecary cabinets but you almost never come across them so I like to find furniture with a blank canvas and transform them into faux antique cabinets!

Some of you might remember me working on this one in my stories a few weeks ago…It was a short ugly 70s style credenza with hideous appliqués…I removed all the ugly and added faux drawers, hardware and metal legs to add much needed height! This piece would be perfect as a buffet, tv console, or dresser.
