Eric Francis Woodworks is a one-man traditional woodcraft operation in Central Indiana. Eric makes "future antiques"...beautiful, natural and functional wooden pieces that will be cherished for decades, and maybe even centuries to come. Eric specializes in wood turning, making bowls, urns, vases and jars from Indiana hardwoods. Eric also makes traditional furniture pieces, taking pride in the trad

itional methods of hand cut joinery. Most of Eric's pieces contain no metal fasteners of any kind...no screws, nails or staples.

On November 5th, 2025, Maria Florinda Rios Perez de Velasquez, a 32 year old mom, wife and professional house cleaner, was shot and killed by Curt Andersen in Whitestown, Indiana.
While we hope for justice to be served, it is also my hope that this carving will provide some level of comfort to Maria's family. I delivered it to the family's attorney Monday morning.
