Avoid dark spots and stick your LED strip where it belongs...a small recess at the end of the dado for the light track.
This LED strip from can be cut every inch but the shelves dictate 42 ¼ for the dado. With the end of the strip in a small recess at one end and the clip inside the through-hole on the other side there is no unlit area.

Solid wood samples in Ash, Maple, Cherry, White Oak and Walnut. Finished with clearcoat in satin on one side and dull on the other.

This entertainment center spans over fifteen feet. The center cabinet has a door with a wire mesh panel to provide air flow for the equipment. Solid maple top and plenty of storage in the cabinets and adjustable shelves.
