The perfect opportunity fell into my lap. I had the chance to work with things that I love: Jesus, antiques, decorating and old books. I got to stage a studio at a bible college for their seminary lectures. They had all of the amazing books, some of them from the early 1800’s. I did all of the decor sourcing/purchasing and all of the staging. This was such an awesome project to work on.

Christmas decorating is done at this point, unless I find anymore treasures. The girls did some crafty things this year to add some Little Women vibes

This dresser is the first one that I’ve completely stripped to the bear wood and stained. Sooooo much work but I think it was worth it. Fits in my bedroom nicely, I’m really enjoying the final product. The dresser was free and is in amazing condition.

My finds from Whidbey Island. Total cost $40. The print is French and it’s from a painting depicting the prodigal son from the Bible. A king Pottery Barn duvet cover set. The antique floral dish I’m going to put my butter in. And so much pretty vintage glass. Also, a table runner. A very successful haul.

Lord I pray that we would become financially stable so I could not work for someone else anymore. Instead, I would slowly, maybe quickly, build my Interior Design business and it become successful enough to prosper.
