Dear friends,
Hurricane Sandy has left hundreds of thousands of namesless families homeless. One such family is my family. Chris & Tammy Keogh, along with their young children, Patrick and Addison. We are doing a fundraiser to help them secure some housing and replace essentials. Here is how you can help:

We started this fundraiser, unbeknownst to Tammy and Chris, Addison and Patrick to help them get back on their feet. In less than a year, Tammy and Chris bought their first home and had a new baby. WIth Hurricane Sandy approaching they were asked to evacuate and hurriedly packed bags for their 3 year old 8 month baby. They came back after the storm to see everything they had worked for destroyed. They have lost their home, along with most of their possessions. The house has been gutted to minimize mold and the contents are piled on their front and side lawns in heartbreaking 'mountains of memories'. Insurance and FEMA will, hopefully, provide assistance but it is safe to assume the degree of coverage will fall woefully short of their true value and the timing of the assistance is... unknown. They must urgently secure short term housing, immediately replace dozens of necessities (vital baby accessories, furniture, clothing) and all the obvious mainstays of life required by 8 month and 3 year old children and their parents. It is a daunting and almost unfathomable challenge. All while they patiently await inspection of their property by their insurance carrier and FEMA to learn their fate. So many of you have reached out and asked how you can help. Here is a way to help in a concrete way. Any financial support you may be in a position to offer to give the Keogh's a 'fresh start' will be greatly appreciated and never forgotten. Thank you so much for all of your concern. Please share this with any friends and family who may want to help. We hope to post more positive pictures as they start to rebuild their lives with your help.
