Here is one of our most recent projects! We installed the cabinets in this attractive butler pantry in Decatur last week. The thoughtful design and color scheme is thanks to the expertise of These Four Walls... We always enjoy working with Amy!

Paint Color: Benjamin Moore Aventurine AF-445
Stained Wood: Lite Asbury Stain on Brown Maple with Brown Glaze
Lighting: Dimmable 3000K Tresco lighting recessed into the bottom shelf

So these are kinda custom shelves... made of teak wood, they will be set into stone above a bar area in a pool house. Up...

So these are kinda custom shelves... made of teak wood, they will be set into stone above a bar area in a pool house. Up-lighting to illuminate...bottles? Probably not John Deere drinking glasses anyway. 1/2" thick tempered glass inset into the top of the shelves. Down-lighting to illuminate the countertops.

Teak is interesting wood. Saw it growing all over in Africa, but this is the first that I have worked with it. It has a tremendous amount of resin in the wood, so it takes more time to clean the resin off of the glue joints prior to gluing it up.

Hoping to see it once it is installed. We delivered this to its home in Lake Forest yesterday.

I'd like to put in a good word for Prairieland Construction, LLC!

Their crew is working at our facility, adding on our much wished for warehouse and production offices. The conditions are a bit adverse... plenty of wind and rain, but I haven't heard them complaining!

They built our existing shop way back in the late 1990's. If you are looking for a professional builder for metal frame construction, look no further!

I delivered a custom kitchen out to a 3rd generation client this morning! We built cabinets for the grandparents (I don't know how many years ago), then for the parents (21 years ago) and now their son (the clients are my age).
We are blessed to have many friends around Central Illinois like this!
Thanks to all of you who are reading this message!
I hope to post the final pics of the kitchen in a few weeks once the countertops and backsplash are installed.
