This has been a crazy couple years for me. My kidney disease really took a turn back in 2023, i developed atrial fibrillation, which destroyed my one good kidney. I have been under great care, and have prepared for where I am at the best I can. I went into kidney failure in July after a long stubborn battle. I still held out until Labor Day, I went into kidney failure to the ER, in pretty tough shape. I was on dialysis very quickly, I had a surgery to prepare my arm for this. I have been in dialysis since then, 3 x a week for 4 hours and 15 minutes. To say this has changed my life is an understatement. I am doing well, and navigating through this. I am grateful for the support and compassion I have received. Please understand that this is tough on my family as well. They are the pillars holding me up. This is my life until I get a kidney transplant. I am working on getting on “the list.” I do not need a match, I just need a donor. There is a whole trading system in place for this. So if I have become distant, it is just because I am pushing my way through this. Those that know me, know that I am stubborn and will not go down with out a fight. I have a team of angels who look over me at dialysis, and let me tell ya, they have saved me more than once! I am doing what I need to to be as healthy as I can, so don’t worry. All my other numbers have leveled out, I just need a kidney! 🙏❤️I also had to have platinum coils put into my veins to block the flow. That was fascinating to watch! And I got my Watchman put into my heart. I’m getting there
