This event changed my life back in 2017. This was my first major event with my business Not Yo Mama Desserts. I was nervous and scared. It was a all day event. I got there at 8am and left around 3am. From 12pm to 315pm I did not make any money at all. The vendor lady next to me, gave me some hope around 3pm. She told me, most of the people going to eat first and then buy dessert/ice cream later. She said, do worry you going to make a lot of money today. So, around 320pm I received my first customer and never looked back. My line was very long up until about 1230am. Since this event, I done business all over NJ and PA. I was also in 2 County State Fairs, I done multiple companies parties, house music festival in Newark, birthday parties, a lot of street fairs and a bunch of festivals. With that being said, I love this business and I met a lot of wonderful people over the last 2 summers. If you put your mind to it and work hard, you can achieve anything out of life. I'm closed this summer due to the Corona Virus. But, once this is over with I'm coming back better and stronger. Hard work always pays off.
