I have 4 kiddos: Kayona (19), Kailey (11), Katelyn (7) and Keegan (5). The two youngest are VERY active in BMX, which is bicycle motocross. Their VERY first time being on a BMX anything was May 12th of this year, which was Mother's Day. While the kids played around on the track, I got to talking to a BMX dad & his beautiful BMX daughter (Doug & Tana). He explained BMX to me and invited us to gate
practice the next day and that is all that it took for the kids to be hooked.......
Long story short, my kiddos have come a LONG way in a very short time. Between the two of them they have over 100 trophies/plaques. They have been to two nationals already (Kentucky & Minnesota) & made it to mains in both of those nationals each day. Big accomplishment, by the way... LOL! I have spent countless hours researching the sport, traveling, watching, learning, bonding with FABULOUS people and spent thousands of dollars already..... so it's time for a fund~raiser!! I will post the video of their VERY 1st race on May 15th of this year and a more recent one so you can be amazed by them, as I am. Kailey, my 11 year old is an AWESOME big sister that also LOVES BMX but does not want to ride. She volunteers at the finish line & is the BEST cheerleader and picture/video taker ever!
