Getting to work with brands and spaces that already have such a strong point of view is always fun. Miles Away Palm Springs is a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom, LGBTQ+ owned vacation rental situated just one mile from downtown Palm Springs.

They’ve done such an incredible job with the design, every detail inspired by the queen herself, Madonna. Between the mountain views, desert vibes, and thoughtfully designed spaces, it’s the kind of place that makes you want to say as long as you can.

If you’re looking for a spot to get away this year, I highly recommend Miles Away . 🌴

During my time working in SaaS, I learned a lot about sales but one thing has stuck with me more than anything:

"Sell the problem you solve, not the product you sell."

I think about this all the time now working in marketing with small businesses. It’s just about understanding your people, knowing who they are, what they care about, and what they’re trying to avoid or move toward.

If you’re a small business owner and you’ve made it this far, here’s a freebie:
You’re giving people an alternative.
An alternative to big (and often corrupt) brands. Something local, personal... a way to feel good about where their money is going.

And that’s a pretty incredible solution. Let's market it. 💙

Susanne has always been passionate about protecting our environment. After learning the true impact of the fashion industry, she decided to take matters into her own hands creating a slow fashion option for women and kids in Lyons, Colorado.

Working with /pôr/ has been my dream! This has always been one of my favorite places to meet up for happy hour. And one thing about me, I LOVE WINE (and cheese)!

I also love that it’s run by the same amazing team behind The Jasmine Bar. They’re some of my favorite people to work with.

And because I can’t help myself, a few of my favorite tapas are: The Three Cheese Artichoke Gratin, The Parmesan Truffle Fries, and Buratta & Braised Tomatoes (but honestly, I could keep going).

Tucked behind Bittersweet Cafe, perfect for date nights or events. And of course, their menu is fabulous! You can tell a lot of care goes into what they’re creating. But honestly, the best part of working with them is the team. The owners and staff have truly become friends over the last year, which makes it all the more special.

I’ve been working with Bittersweet for a year now, and it’s been such a fun business to market. Getting to help capture what makes this place so loved, and seeing how consistently people show up for them, has been really special. There’s a reason they’re always busy, it’s the kind of place people keep coming back to because there is something for everyone.

When you think of Bittersweet Cafe, you might just think coffee… but I’ve truly never met a sandwich I didn’t like there (and I’m being so for real). They make everything in house even their baked goods and it's GOOD! My most recent (and maybe current favorite) is the “Veg Out”… highly recommend. 🥪
