A few days ago, the Ackerman’s, Friends, family, brothers and sisters were stricken with a tragedy. Loren “Lowrider” and Shelli Ackerman were in a horrific accident on their motorcycle traveling back from Sturgess near Lolo pass. While the details remain unclear as to the cause, what we do know is that Shelli and Low were life flighted to the hospital with numerous injuries. Currently, if you know the unfortunate details about the amount of trauma, then the family wants you to know. If not, please understand that the last thing the family needs to do is continue to repeat and relive the details over and over. The family is forever grateful and appreciative of the outburst of love, prayers and passion to want help and do something. However, due to the crisis they are still in they are asking to give them time to embrace each other and the needs of Low and Shelli.

I have no more words to express how much this has affected members of the chapter, the community, friends and relatives. All we can do is hope for the best and focus on making the best outta Kickback as we can. Low and Shelli would not nothing more than to see our annual kickback campout go on as planned. While it may be a painful and somber moment, we need to respect The Ackerman’s by carrying on with what they loved the most, caring for other and our chapter 100% of the time.
