E-bikes are a hot item at the moment (especially with kids) but not all E-bikes are bikes... and with the seemingly endless supply of cheap, high powered E-Bikes available online, it can be difficult to know what brands and models are solid, safe, and reliable (not to mention what's legal to ride on public roads and trails).
It's important to understand what you are looking for, what you are buying, who you are buying it from, who is going to ride it, where is it going to be ridden, and whether or not you can get it serviced after you own it.
