The On30 Bishop Creek and Sierra Railway An On30 layout representing a fictional narrow gauge railroad in the Owens Valley area of Eastern California.

The Bishop Creek & Sierra is a On30 model railroad based on a fictional narrow gauge railway that ran into the Eastern Sierra Nevada mountains and interchanging with the SP narrow gauge near Laws, CA. The line serviced the many mines in the area along with the timber industry, hauling cargoes in support of both. The line takes influence from the SP narrow gauge, the Virginia & Truckee, the Eureka & Palisade and other western narrow gauge lines.

I have started to dismantle what was left of the top of the N scale layout. I have a lot of time off over the holidays, so I should be able to get some stuff done.

Not much progress has been made for a while. I am slowly chunking away at building turnouts on my Fast Tracks jig. My schedule at my real job has changed where I don't have quite as much time to work on things. This is a good change for me, but will take some adjustment.
