We joke a lot around here about “if people only knew” all the things we do on our projects and the level of detail that goes into some of these homes. More often than not the architect is driving most of the interior details… the moldings, the cabinetry, the ceilings, etc…but sometimes we’re asked to take on that part. Here’s a little behind the scenes on what we’re up to these days…

Spring hath sprung. The hateful pollen deluge has been followed by an explosion of azaleas in the front yard. We had gobs planted last summer and darn it if they didn’t make it through winter and then some. Nice to finally be outside (sneezing and watery eyes be damned 🤧)

Looking ahead to my conversation with celebrated decorator at the next weekend (see link in bio for more in the show and for tickets) Inspired by a post Suzanne did yesterday from the .steinitz booth at yesterday…remember that scene in the Wizard of Oz where Dorothy opens the door and the movie is suddenly in color? Entering Steinitz in Paris is like that…it’s so over the top and sumptuous…hard to believe the level of craftsmanship and the minor miracle that these pieces could survive for hundreds of years. Happy to report two of the chandeliers from this trip found their way to one of our San Francisco projects
