This walk-in closet was designed to maximize every inch of available space while keeping everything organized, accessible, and looking clean and modern.

✨ A Project I’ll Never Forget ✨

This custom pergola with a hanging daybed was one of the most unique projects I’ve had the opportunity to design and build in recent years.

Every piece was designed, built, finished, and assembled by one person (with a extra set of hands during milling). From setting the posts and constructing the pergola to building and hanging the oversized suspended bed, every step required careful planning and attention to detail.

The challenge wasn’t the woodworking itself—it was handling and installing the massive beams, joists, and structural components by myself. Maneuvering lumber of that size safely and accurately as a one-man shop made this project especially demanding.

I’m incredibly proud of how it turned out, but I’ll also say this…

This will be the first and last pergola with a hanging bed that I’ll build.

Not because I don’t enjoy building them, but because projects of this scale are simply better suited to a larger crew. As a one-man shop, I prefer to focus on the custom cabinetry, built-ins, closets, furniture, and finish carpentry that allow me to deliver the level of craftsmanship my customers expect.

A huge thank you to my customer for trusting me with such a unique vision. Watching this space come together and knowing it will be enjoyed for years to come made all the hard work worthwhile.

🌸 A Custom Closet Built for a Little Girl with Big Dreams!

Just wrapped up one of my favorite projects to date—a fully custom built-in closet system designed to maximize storage while adding a fun, whimsical touch to this young lady’s room.

✨ Features include:
✔️ Floor-to-ceiling custom cabinetry
✔️ Rolling library ladder for safe access to upper storage
✔️ Custom arched door details throughout
✔️ Dedicated hanging space for clothes and dresses
✔️ Multiple drawer banks for organized storage
✔️ Pull-out platforms to reach upper closet rod and shelves
✔️ Built-in shelving and adjustable storage areas
✔️ Warm interior lighting that automatically illuminates the cabinets when opened
✔️ Hidden upper storage compartments accessed by the ladder

The soft lavender finish paired with the brass ladder rail created a timeless look that can grow with her for years to come. Every inch was custom designed to provide maximum storage while keeping the room feeling clean, organized, and beautiful.

Custom Built-In Desk & Bookshelf System by Rise Again Woodcrafts

Another custom project completed and installed!

This built-in workspace was designed to maximize storage while creating a beautiful focal point beneath the window. The project features:

✔ Custom floor-to-ceiling bookshelves with adjustable shelving
✔ Large built-in desk spanning the window wall
✔ Six drawers for office and school supplies
✔ Double-door storage cabinets on both sides with adjustable shelves inside
✔ Integrated crown molding and trim for a seamless built-in appearance
✔ Custom shaker-style doors and drawer fronts
✔ Durable furniture-grade finish in a clean white color

One of my favorite parts of this project was watching it transform from raw plywood sheets in the shop into a fully finished built-in that looks like it has always been part of the home. The photos show the entire progression—from cabinet construction and assembly, to fitting doors and drawers, to final installation and trim work.

As a one-man shop, I take pride in building each project from start to finish with attention to detail and craftsmanship that will last for years.

Another custom project completed ✔️

This home originally had a large cased opening into the living room. With more people working from home, the homeowners needed a dedicated office space they could close off when needed — without losing natural light.

I installed a set of custom French doors and added a transom above to maintain the original opening height while keeping the door units a standard size. This approach keeps the look balanced and uniform — and helps keep costs down compared to a full custom oversized door build.

Now they have privacy when they need it, light when they want it, and a space that feels intentional and built-in.

The current top is a temporary work surface while we wait for the custom stone countertop to come in — but even now, you can see how this piece anchors the whole kitchen.

Need storage solutions for a small kitchen? We can help.

This custom pantry was designed to maximize every inch of space while giving a clear, full view of everything inside. It features nine full-extension slide-out drawers, so nothing gets lost in the back.

• Extra-deep drawers at the bottom for bulky items
• Third drawer from the bottom includes dual pull-outs perfect for canned and jar storage
• Door-mounted storage with three spice drawers, each holding approximately 16–20 spice containers (depending on size)
• Two additional full-extension open shelves above for easy access and visibility

Built as a full-height pull-out cabinet, this pantry fits neatly into a narrow space beside the refrigerator, turning an often-unused area into highly functional storage. The clean white shaker-style fronts blend seamlessly with the surrounding cabinetry, while heavy-duty slides ensure smooth operation even when fully loaded.
