Ok y’all, here it is!! The final result!! We are very proud of this piece. has WAY better staining skills than I do and as with everything else, she makes this looks amazing!!! As you can see, you can start your day or end it here, hahaha! Whether it’s a morning pick-me-up or a night cap, this bar will give you years of enjoyment and is a great conversation starter! We built this one for our home and have already received so many compliments on it!
It’s made almost entirely of solid knotty alder wood, only the back is birch plywood, the hardware is iron, the door is 4 different types of wood, and yes, that is a solid 2 inch thick slab with a live edge at the top!!! We think all that gives this bar a lot of character!! It’s about 40”x30”x12 with three shelves on the right and two on the left.
