Out of the Grain Woodworking, Landscaping & Decking After careful consideration and thorough evaluation of our multiple business ventures, Out of the Grain has made the strategic decision to scale back our landscaping, decking, and construction services for the upcoming year, 2026.

Instead, we will be concentrating our efforts on Out of the Grain Specialty & Novelty Store, with a focus on establishing more consistent operating hours and enhancing the integration between our retail store and woodworking operations. This decision was not made lightly, as numerous factors contributed to the need for us to re-evaluate our priorities.

Unfortunately, we have been unable to secure sufficient staffing to support both companies, necessitating this difficult choice. We are hopeful that circumstances may change in the future, but for now, we believe this decision is essential to ensuring the continued success of our retail store.

We appreciate your understanding and support as we redirect our focus towards meeting the evolving needs of our community and enhancing the overall shopping experience at Out of the Grain Specialty & Novelty Store. In the interim, we will be completing a few outstanding client projects in the spring, which may result in temporary adjustments to our store hours.

We appreciate your inquiries and interest in our services, but we will not be accepting new projects or clients through 2026. Please be assured that we will post updates and notify those who have expressed interest in our services if our circumstances change. This weeks progress in two different jobs!! So much more to come with a final completion on each!

I did not get before photos on landscaping prior…unfortunately, but it’s still going to look so different even if you don’t get to see the overgrowth and everything removed.

Progress this week on a job! New roof is nearly complete, then on too the siding, and trim. This will be a total transformation! More to come.

With the seasons beginning to change, Out of the Grain will be finishing up jobs and pending estimates for this 2025 calander year.

We already have clients that we have pushed back/lined up for the 2026 Spring time, and will be accepting new landscaping, decking, fencing jobs for the 2026 calander year.
