I made these tables while doing my annual reading of the novel, Musashi, by Eiji Yoshikawa. Specifically, the chapter entitled, The Peony. The chapter describes a flower arrangement consisting of a single flower (a peony) whose st was masterfully cut to create the singularly beautiful arrangement.
