Hey everyone it has been a long time since I posted but with the price increase of eggs every little bit will help...we have our next food giveaway May 19th and the sticker shock was palpable when I purchased the eggs a few weeks back. We continue to have at least 75 families come through once a month and many have been visiting our church on Sundays and coming to CR. God is using us to fulfill a physical need but providing and avenue to Him. Any little bit helps!

I just want to share my heart for a second. I get going and sometimes forget that maybe I am asking people to help and they don't know the back story. I love a good God fueled ministry story.

So last summer we began doing a mobil food Drive thru at Connect. From the start I had a hand in organizing and helping prepare. As I have watched and listened to how God is using us to meet a physical need but offering them a spiritual need. We have had over 40 people come to our Celebrate Recovery because of this opportunity and numerous families visit our church. I need to telm you this one though. Last month we had a mother come through. I was getting her info and asked how she heard about us. She said her 7 year old son had come to her that morning and told her they would not have enough food to get through the week and she was so upset and felt defeated. She asked God to help her and she felt like she should google free food and we came up on her screen. She drove from the city to get food! She said she was waiting for her stimulus money to get her car fixed and just was so thankful we were doing what we were doing. Ok so that Roght there is why we are here. To be a light and give to the needy. Guys we have been in that position and so many helped us when we were in a time of need. We are His hands and feet!! So that brings me to the eggs! So many people have been so thankful and shocked that we have eggs to offer. They are so versatile and such a great source of protein. So I really just felt like this was something God was saying to me...aks others to sponsor eggs! So many people want to help but are not sure how...so this is just an opportunity to provide tangibly for the kingdom.

So if you have not figured it out I am asking for help...anything is appreciated to be able to provide eggs for our mobile drive thru market! Shoot me a message if you have any questions. Eggs are so versatile so to be able to offer them with other foodis such a blessing! We do not have any idea what we will get with our good bank items so this is a way to be able to give soemthing we all use everyday!😊
