Beds. Yes, we build beds too! Our client had a vision of a floating headboard with nightstands and under mattress storage. The headboard had to match other furniture pieces with color and design style. The subtle curves along the outer edges of the headboard carried through to the nightstands.

Thank you for allowing us to build such a useful and beautiful bed!

Client B: I really want a new kitchen but the cost…can you do a makeover with new doors and color?
UMWW: Well, we normally don’t paint cabinets on site but we definitely can make new doors so this could fit into our repertoire.
B: Great! Here’s the color and idea for the door style.
UMWW: Perfect! Let’s do it!

Unbelievable what new doors and color can do to a kitchen!!!

Reach out to Urban Mill Woodworks for a kitchen change without the new kitchen cost.

When a well known St. Louis School reaches out for a special piece to honor one of their most beloved monks, of course we oblige. This Scriptorium was built to fit a nook in the classroom and honors the monk with his name carved into the top. It carries the ancient medieval motif but doesn’t overwhelm the eye. It has a pull out writing surface and a barristers bookcase in which the students will build their own stain glass insert also. We loved that we could help honor the monk in this way. Thank you.

Client R: I saw a desk in Germany while I was traveling there. Do you think you can build a similar desk?
UMWW: Yes, I believe we can. Do you have details?
R: It is an elliptical glass top with a Walnut base, are you sure?
UMWW: Yes. Let’s work out the details and dimensions.

I think we did it!
