Excited to be setting up at a woodworking show again after some time! It's been a while, but I’m looking forward to showcasing some new pieces and soaking in all the creative energy. Birdhouse Foundation is an amazing organization that helps to build houses for those in poverty. I am on their Board and have had the privilege of building two homes with them.

They are fundraising for a new truck. Over the past 6 years, Birdhouse Foundation has been able to work in different villages in Guatemala sharing the love of God, bringing teams, bringing construction materials for the houses they build, distributing different donations such as beds, fuel efficient stoves, food bags and so much more for families in need. They have been able to build 52 houses in different areas of Guatemala. That is not only 52 families whose lives have been changed but also the generations to come.

It has been an honor to be a part of all the Lord is doing through Birdhouse Foundation and see first hand families enter into a real relationship with the Lord.

Unfortunately, the truck that they have been using over the years continues to be unreliable and it’s time to buy a more reliable truck that can serve as a tool to help them keep doing what they have been and go even further into where the Lord is calling their ministry.

They only need $4,000 more to buy a new truck that checks all the boxes of what is needed. By donating toward this truck you too can be a part of what the Lord is doing in Guatemala and with Birdhouse Foundation. Had lunch at Skully's and tried some new things on their menu. I had their "glazed tofu" with noodles and gochujang sauce. Wow! Followed it up with an Egg Roll (sauteed cabbage, carrot, sh*take mushroom, green onions). It comes with sweet n' sour sauce, but I had a side of the Yuzu sauce. It is so good!

They're now opening from 11 to 2:30 and 4:30 to 8 (Tues thru Friday) and Saturday 12 to 8. If you've not been there in awhile, you're missing out.

My phone "crashed" on Friday. I like being in the sun, but I guess the Samsung Galaxy does not (weird with a name like that). It's actually been a little freeing. I want you to know if you're trying to call and it goes straight to voicemail, I am not avoiding you....you have not made me mad...and I am ok. Should be back in the flow in a few days.

My favorite times building for Birdhouse Foundation in 2023. Consider going with us May 18th through 25th and build a house for a family with great need. It will change the life of the entire family.
