✨ VIP First Look ✨

Today I drove an hour to rescue this beautiful vintage buffet from a garage sale.

Nobody wanted her. People walked right past, seeing only a worn top and an old piece of furniture. But I saw the burl veneer, the craftsmanship, the dovetail drawers, the felt-lined tray tucked inside, and the story she still had left to tell.

As I work on older pieces, I often find myself wondering where they’ve been and what they’ve seen. This buffet may have been present for thousands of ordinary moments that nobody remembers anymore—morning coffee, report cards laid on top, holiday dinners, family gatherings, and special occasions.

The people are gone from the story, but the furniture remains.

And there’s something beautiful about that. ❤️

Now it’s time for a new chapter.

I’ll be giving this solid wood beauty a fresh life, and my VIPs get the first peek at the journey. Stay tuned as I decide on her transformation!

I brought home these solid teak rockers and, whew… they had definitely been skipping their moisturizer. 😂

A little cleaning, a little elbow grease, and their first drink of h**p oil later… look at them now! 😍

The best part? They’re not finished yet! These beauties will be getting a second coat of h**p oil tomorrow to really nourish the wood and bring out even more of that gorgeous teak grain. ✨

Took this sweet little vintage table from tired to storybook charm 🌿

She got a full makeover complete with a botanical top, lined drawer, brass casters, and the prettiest pedestal base details. I styled her as an entry table, but she’d also be beautiful in a sunroom or tucked between two chairs.

I did custom fish end tables for a client’s beach house a few years back… and recently she fell in love with a chest I sourced 🤍

She asked me to paint it to match—and when she opened the drawers, she got the sweetest surprise 🐟✨
