Our passion is giving old wood new life by creating pieces that will be treasured for generations. Good Wood is a Spindale, North Carolina based artisan furniture workshop, established by John Moore in 2009, with sustained interest in preserving America's heritage through wood. This type of wood is most often heart pine and is found in turn of the century (1900) buildings such as houses, barns, ou

thouses, and other structures that were used to support an agricultural lifestyle. Wood that fits this description carries unique grain patterns that cannot be manufactured, it must weather naturally over time; thus making wood products of this character extremely rare and desirable.
