The image and the style that ya used to…

My name is Carolyn, and I’m a designer who’s been in the interior design industry for over 20 years. Not afraid to age myself OR put on a tool belt when needed, (mines hot pink) and I’m always on the hunt for the perfect piece of furniture or accessory for each space (even if it has to come from Marketplace or any other resale site/shop.) I rescue beloved furnishings and give them a new home. Yet also completely able to kick down exorbitantly for the perfect piece to tie it all together.
Also an eDesigner, I can design for any client no matter where they live and I am a designer of shipping container homes as well, (which is something I’ve wanted to do for about as long as I’ve been designing homes.)
You could call me a coastal cowgirl since I’m originally from San Diego, California and now a Texan, lots of my design work incorporates coast and cattle. 🌊🤠

I have two sons who are my reason for being. I used to own an all organic [mostly] vegan small cafe in San Diego, and I absolutely love Jesus!! And dogs. I love dogs. Any well designed /loved home should have a mascot. 💜🙌🏼😎

When a major isn’t an option, could you live with the fixtures? I personally adore suites with their colors, and classic shapes. I think we should bring back the colored fixtures and appliances! This bathroom and it’s sage green fixtures will become its own shade of fabulous, when paired with mink walls, natural, blush, and sage accessories, a new pill shaped mirror with wood accents and shelving, and don’t forget the retro looking beaded curtains to compliment the vintage arched bath surround. A little can go a long way in a desert oasis, and it doesn’t require moving out to allow for demolition 🙌🏼✌🏼

Random photo of a man at the DMV holding a baby. The man does not know the child. They are strangers to each other. The parents of the child was sitting next to the man and the baby, feeling squirmy and discontent, crawled into the man's lap.

The man had just moved from one state to another, where a year prior his brother was killed. This baby was born on that very day. Everyone was overwhelmed to tears.
