I have a love of all things vintage, and especially furniture. In an effort to try to refinish one piece I bought off of craigslist, I found how much I love breathing new life into a tired old piece. Bright colors, modern clean lines, or antiqued or distressed looks: I love them all. I love that when an old, unloved, dusty dresser that came from someone's basement becomes something beautiful and a

live. When I see a piece I love I can already imagine its transformation. And what better way to celebrate this transformation than giving them new names! A personality comes through. Knowing only a small glimpse of its history, I can tell what the piece is trying to be. Fall in love with one of my many furniture pieces and bring a new family member home!

A little side project for me… my dad helped me make these wine boxes for my own house many years ago and they started out white. They’ve been in the basement of this house since we moved so I decided to update them and bring them back to life. Now black, feet added, proudly in the dining room holding more wine than I thought I had! 😊🖤

Trying something new — I’ve always used pre-colored furniture paints (my tried and true and will always recommend!), but trying this Valspar tintable paint to color match for a client. Hoping I love this paint because then 🌈 🦄 and 🦋!
