Thanks for all the support. I am working on a bunch of teaching videos about restoring and refinishing furniture, mostly antique. I want to pass along as much of what I learned as I can.
Over 50 years I have been incredibly fortunate. Folks have asked me to build them so many outrageous piece of custom furniture and restore their prized family heirlooms.
Shooting and editing is pretty time consuming so have patience and let me know of questions you may have.
One of my favs. 1889 Herschel horse. This was willed to a physician in Omaha in terrible condition but certainly deserving of restoration.
I carved portions of two legs, carved two new ears, straightened the neck back to a sweeping original curve, repaired many areas.
I consulted with a gal in Chicago who was an expert on colors. It came out great and was great fun.
There are few things as beautiful as the lines of a horse.
