We offer a variety of DownCut bits, starting with a 1/8” shank up to a 1/2” shank. There is tip sizes as small as 1/32” and all the up to 1/2”, we even manufacture 3 flute downcuts for smoother cuts!
So a down-cut spiral bit is a great tool to have for woodworking and CNC work, especially when you want clean, smooth cuts on the top surface of your material. It’s perfect for cutting materials like plywood or laminates. It helps prevent splintering and keeps the top edges looking sharp.
