I primarily use Annie Sloan chalk paint and General Finishes gel stain, to bring out the hidden beauty in people's discarded, yard sale, and thrift store items. GF gel stain and ASCP brings out the beautiful look to old and tired furniture. Living near the beach, the driftwood technique is a popular look to furniture...I never tire of the different effects this makes to furniture. I'm fond of dry

brushing and a wash to furniture as well; this just brings out another side to unwanted furniture. Mostly, I'm happy to keep things out of the landfills that are overcrowded.
