It wasn’t something boastful prideful or showy.

A simple reminder to not give up on something that I believed in.

Not just a dream….It was belief that it could grow into a community and a lifestyle brand. Not for me but for others to share in the journey.

Thought I’d share a fun little something that happened. happened to choose a name I suggested for their new Van. The “Double Haul”. Some will get the reference and it’s ok if you don’t. I’m grateful for the opportunity and check them out if you get the chance. They have great product!

Saw Sally and a BUNCH of her friends hatching and was fortunate enough to capture this between casts! She gave me the opportunity to let the water rest for a minute and also so I could refocus on where the cutties were having snacks.

This guy...DOC. He’s a consummate fly fishing professional. Master of a great cast and presentation, empathetic on your misses, hard working rower and never passes up an opportunity to give you sh** for a fish whiff on a take. It’s a great relationship where I strive to be better on the water and take care of the fish as well as my gear. That and also not to hook him in the ear when the winds blow. 🤣🤣 thosedays

Cutty town on the green drake. First island stop and 15 min in switched over from the big bug. Cutty takes are good for those a little rusty on the reaction. Mind over matter....if you don’t mind, it doesn’t matter. Love this fishery.
