I acquired this beautiful antique, East Lake-style accent table from a follower who reached out while cleaning out a relative’s home who had passed.

I tried staining the top. But, with past water and insect damage, it was just not turning out the way I wanted it to.

So, plan B…milk paint!

It never disappoints! That soft, authentic looking finish is just…chef’s kiss! 😘 😉

And all that detail!😍

Unfortunately, I couldn’t find a before pic, so I must have forgotten to take one.🤷🏻‍♀️😆

I’ve been home from my day job for a few weeks now and after a little bit of rest, it’s been so good to get back into my studio and start creating again!

Project “clean out my garage” has begun! 🤣

First piece…this lingerie dresser. It has been used by several family members over the years and was no longer needed.

These older, French provincial pieces are well made and super solid.

I had this poppy fields transfer I bought a while ago. I used half of it on another project and thought this piece would work well for the other half.

Since there was so much white space left above the transfer, one of my creative friends, Franklin's touch , suggested using one of the IOD gold transfers and it really helped finish off this piece!Thank you, Chrissy!💛
