I'm a long time upcycler, costume designer, seamstress, knitter, gardener, and all-around Jill-of-all-trades. I love taking found items and existing pieces, and creating something new with them, whether that means turning an old chemise into a fantastic boho sundress, or refurbishing a historic home with quirky antiques, salvaged tile, and a fresh gallon of mis-tinted paint in just the right shade
of faded lilac. Thanks to some water damage, and labor shortages during the pandemic, I came alongside a contractor, took a professional tile laying course, and took the place of an apprentice doing drywall, mudding and taping. Now, I'm beginning to take what I've learned, and come alongside other DIY-ers, who are just a little shy of inspiration or know-how. I have a full professional sewing studio. Need to freshen up a room? I can organize, paint, repair, refurbish and decorate - and turn your old space into your new space. I specialize in great outcomes on a minimal materials budget. Thrift stores, salvage yards and antique shops can be a fantastic way to source materials that won't break the bank. Have some skills? Let's work together. I'm happy to be collaborative, and give as much or as little assistance as you need to complete your project. No project too small. There are plenty of people to call who want the big jobs. I like the weekend bathroom, the refurbished cabinets, and the "we have great stuff, we just don't know how to take it from college dorm to decorator."
