Think your game Icon is the most important part of your App Store landing page? Think again...
A nice Icon or Screenshot might get someones attention and maybe even get them to click on your app. However, that doesn't mean the user will convert/install. Getting them to view your app page is great but according to this study users really care more about your Ratings, Description and App Title.
When the users were asked what A*O factor most influenced their installing of an app, less than 4% said Icon.
Another fun fact. About 45% of users searching the store use the AutoComplete feature. Might be a good idea to research the top AutoComplete phrases before building your A*O plan. Using your Keywords to target the right AutoComplete phrase could be huge.
