A week ago today marked another year around the sun 💫 ♍️

There is so much beauty and complexity in feeling time expand and contract. I reflect and appreciate all of the choices and experiences that have made up the winding road of my life path and got me exactly where I am today.

Looking forward, I see a horizon with lush potential and plenty of room to innovate. Another year to celebrate, share, savor, witness, seek, create, refine, listen and surrender.
I’m most grateful to walk along with my amazing clients, coveted vendors and my beautiful family.

Handcrafted in the Czech Republic the handblown glass Limpid Lights by .studio are created based on the idea of manipulating light with movement. The softened, delicate light create that ideal intimate bedside ambiance we wanted to achieve.

I am always so inspired to continue to support artists and businesses that share the same ethos and we love the story of art and ancestry from .decor. Handcrafted from Oaxacan clay, we knew their beautiful objects would be the perfect addition to our MODERN HACIENDA project.

Palo Santo as a brand strives to showcase the work of other upcoming Mexican artists and creative collectives. Their mission is to support and help elevate the work of female Master Artisans and safeguard these ancestral artisanal traditions for generations to come.

👋 I’m Jessica Moreau. Founder & Principal Designer here at Moreau Design Studio. If we’re new friends here or you’re dropping in to consider working together, here is a little piece of my story & my WHYs.

Background: I’m a first generation American. My parents are European, but I grew up in ☀️ Southern California riding horses & playing in the sand. Visiting artisan family members in France & watching my mom remodel & build homes was very influential. We moved to Sedona when I was 13. It completely rocked my world (pun intended) & anchored my bohemian heart. I value integrity, depth of character, authenticity & a great sense of humor.

Why Interior Design: I always wanted a creative career, but I’m a very practical Virgo that was curious about many things. Obsessed with transformation & storytelling in general, I landed on a degree in Communications working in Marketing/PR first & invested any resources in renovating our personal homes. With more clarity & time, I fully gave in to my ♥️ for interiors and went back to school for a design degree. I established my career at a large firm in Scottsdale, made wonderful connections & won some awards. In 2012 I became a mom & 🔥 up that entrepreneurial courage to have a life fully aligned with my values.

About The Studio: Our philosophy as a boutique, Full Service Design Studio is creating a highly personal customer experience while creating soulful, organically elegant spaces grounded in the spirit of well-being. With limited projects accepted & the support of my amazing creative team, we invest a lot of heart & energy into creating a holistic, but systematic design process for our clients. I’m proud to employ talented moms who are aligned with our ethos of creating meaningful work & a flexible, thriving family balance.

Why Sedona: In the chaos of 2020, my husband & I made the leap of faith to move to my hometown of Sedona, AZ to raise our children with the same rich connection to nature I was lucky to adopt. Living in Sedona has given me permission to fully embrace & continue to discover what it means for me to live well. I believe in meaning, miracles & that you are remembered by how you made people FEEL.
