Chromotherapy is a form of therapy that makes use of the various properties of color for healing. Art therapy also applies this concept, using the ability of colors to affect our emotions.

✨ A relaxation spot at home is a place where you can spend a few hours doing things you love, whether it's reading, painting, knitting or just taking a nap. It's a spot that you automatically associate with comfort and relaxation.

As more of us are working from home, having spots that take our mind away from work and keep us calm and content is more important than ever. Whether it's a gaming area, or a room filled with plants and sunlight, make sure to have relaxation spots around your house.

🔵⚪🟣 Contrast is key to bringing visual interest in interiors. Any room that appears well designed always makes use of contrast.
​
​There are multiple ways to bring contrast in an interior. While contrasting colors may be the first thing that comes to mind, there are many more options available. The use of contrast can also be subtle, depending on the style.
​
Interior designers toy with differing textures, patterns, and material finishes to achieve the right level of contrast in a design. Two types of rugs in a living space or a combination of metallic surfaces and textured stone finishes in a kitchen etc. are some of the ways this is done.

My latest design obsession is all the plants in Florida!🌿🌿 There's so many around me wherever I go, with interesting colors and patterns. Whenever I get to style homes with plants, I take a moment to appreciate their beauty😍, and then find them the best spot to shine in.
