The two new buildings at Nipomo Elementary School are connected by an open central courtyard that will serve as an outdoor gathering and assembly space for students and staff. The project also includes staff restrooms, a custodian room, an electrical room, and an IT room to support daily campus operations.

Designed to support the district's youngest learners, the new facilities will provide modern, purpose-built educational environments while creating additional opportunities for learning, collaboration, and community.

We asked KBZ Architects Associate Jason Conner which projects he most enjoys working on:

"The West Campus Center at Santa Barbara City College remains one of my favorite projects. It was the first project I worked on at KBZ, and I had the opportunity to be involved from the early conceptual stages through construction and completion. Having attended Santa Barbara City College myself, it was especially rewarding to be part of the team creating a new facility that would benefit future students and faculty."
