Please join us on Saturday, October 4th at 1400 Coleman Avenue in Santa Clara from 10AM-11:30 AM to join together with our guest speaker, Janette Valentino. Janette is a Certified Professional Life Coach, Writer, and Public Speaker. Janette is also the creator of Mood Lady Cards, a transition tool for developing a practice of self-discovery. Janette will be focusing her talk on the importance of focusing on our selves as women, including our physical serves- our own health. Please join us in the spirit of togetherness for this fun and informative morning event.

Being a young person is hard. Being a young person struggling with sexual identity can be even harder. The It Gets Better Project reaches out to these youths and attempts to assure them that life does get better. More than 50,000 videos have been made in support of this project which have been viewed over 5 million times. The It Gets Better Project works to communicate to le***an, gay, bisexual and transgender youth around the world to let them know that it gets better, and to create and inspire the changes needed to make it better for them.

This week, the ladies of NAPW's San Jose Chapter met to discuss personal passions. After the greeting and announcements by Chapter President Lauren Lee-Johnson, new members had the chance to introduce themselves and their businesses. Keynote speaker Lorri Lockyer gave a passionate and inspiring talk on The Power of Connecting and gave members the tools to truly connect and engage clients and colleagues.
