Starting the year off channeling Richard Avedon’s photographic brilliance honoring women, the latest addition to my home. Avedon was known for capturing women as individualistic, expressing themselves, illustrious and unknown. As a women entrepreneur, I start 2019 proud and strong feeling fresh, hopeful, beautiful, smart and empowered to take my business and my life to the next level. To take the struggles and lessons of 2018 and turn them into fuel for 2019. I am grateful to start another day healthy, surrounded and supported by an amazing community, especially strong females in San Francisco and abroad. I also promise to make more time to write and photograph Substantial food and design 😊💫❤️ Happy New Year everyone !!!

There is something magical seeing something you make by hand available for sale at a huge corporate design store . All of my passions are coming together and connecting people together through food, science and design. This weekend my dad came and helped me at his first popup and it was a teary beautiful moment seeing how happy and proud he was of our little team and family. This is what life is all about. I cherished every moment of this Sunday with him. Thank you West Elm for your dedication to small business + community. 🙏🏻💜🌳
