COOL STARTUP OF THE WEEK: If you’ve read "The Coolest Startups in America," you’ll know about Skillshare. Well, a new startup caught my eye this week because what Skillshare does for learning from peers face-to-face, Clarity.fm is doing phone-to-phone.

Here's how it works: Let's say Warren Buffett joins Clarity.fm, enabling anyone to call him (for a price!) to ask for investing advice. He sets a fee for his time, and decides if Clarity.fm connects people directly to him or if they need to schedule a call. Through Clarity.fm, whenever someone places a call and talks to Warren, Clarity.fm charges the caller for the time, and Warren decides if he pockets it for himself or gives those funds to charity. As Skillshare posits, we all have something to teach and learn, so why not be able to call someone up for expertise and pay for the time spent? Pretty brilliant.
