The easiest way I’ve found to cut finger grooves in my boards. You just need a router and one of these bits. I find this method a lot safer than dropping the board vertically onto the bit.

This base is ready for dominoes and assembly. Made out of English walnut.

Using dominoes for this XL butcher block glue up. Dominoes (and biscuits and dowels) help tremendously with alignment for glue ups and provide some extra strength along the seam.

Routing grooves for a clips in my cabinet base sides. Z clips attach a wood countertop/tabletop to cabinets and allow for wood movement. Glueing wood straight onto cabinets would likely result in cracking over time.
